The Festival

EarthStory hosted our first festival of story and song this past September in Mountain View, California.

We celebrated our relationship with the Earth through storytelling, singing, craft demonstrations, teaching about local ecology, and sharing a meal.

Open House on the Plaza

The afternoon began with a gathering of local environmental organizations and artists who shared their work and their purpose with the gathered community.

Trail demonstrations from Midpeninsula Open Space Preserve
Vicente Moreno teaching corn husk doll making
Jenny Purushotma shares about regenerative gardening
Nicky, from Hidden Villa, shares about how they teach ecology to children
The Foundation for Climate Restoration calls us to strive for a carbon neutral atmosphere
Sharing stories and crafts with children and families walking through the open house

We tell stories that bring the community together.

We invite storytellers that are sharing a new story of a more connected world.

Everyone has a story to share. Our stories make us most fully human.

We can start to build a better world, together, when we come together to share our humanity
